BÒKADAGAR 2026: Presentation and workshop

How are text, body and emotions connected in the creative process?
Musician Lív í Baianstovu invites you to a workshop and presentation in which she shares insights into her creative process, her artistic starting point and her search for an honest and personal form of expression. Drawing on her own work, she talks about working creatively with text, the body and emotions, offering concrete examples from her artistic practice.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to work with a text themselves and explore how the body, personal experiences and emotions can become part of the creative process. We will also explore how vulnerability can find a place in artistic expression, and how working with text can open up new insights and perhaps even have a healing effect.
Feel free to bring your instrument or something you are currently working on. You are also welcome to simply show up as you are – no preparation is required.
The workshop is free, but registration is required by 12 November.
