BÓKADAGAR 2026: Literary Magazine Launch

We invite you to a special launch event celebrating the publication of Varðin 93, once again packed with fascinating content.
Varðin reflects much of the diversity of the Faroese cultural scene, and this is precisely the diversity we want to showcase at the launch event. The audience will have the opportunity to hear readings from some of the different types of writing featured in this year’s issue.
Sissal Kampmann will read a poem, Erling Isholm will read an excerpt from an article about a female merchant in the early 19th century, Ann Ellefsen will read from her review of the new novel Fru S, and Svanna Jákupsdóttir will read her short story.
