A cosy yarn shop in a restored old hay barn in Norðragøta

Eygastova is a charming yarn shop in Norðragøta, housed in a former hay barn dating from around 1942. The building was restored in 2022–2023 and reopened as Eygastova in February 2023, offering a wide selection of unusual yarns, many of which are difficult to find elsewhere in the Faroe Islands.

Browse the yarn and knitting accessories, settle down with your knitting and enjoy a cup of coffee and a friendly chat in the cosy surroundings.

The space can also be booked by small groups and knitting clubs for private gatherings by arrangement.
