Art and history come together in a unique gallery in Klaksvík

Gallarí á Stongunum is housed in the century-old Joen Jacobsen house and the former shop premises of Sp/F Victor á Lakjuni. Over the years, the historic building has been home to various businesses and today provides an intimate setting for art exhibitions. The old building and its preserved details form an important part of the experience, creating a distinctive meeting between art, history and place. The gallery does not have fixed opening hours but opens in connection with exhibitions.
