A community venue for celebrations, courses and events

Húsið við Á is the community house in Porkeri and is used for celebrations, courses and other events. Formerly a furniture shop, the building has been converted into a two-storey community venue.

Both floors have rooms with tables and chairs, as well as kitchen facilities. The upper floor can accommodate around 80 people for seated dining, while the lower floor has space for around 40–45 people. The venue can be rented for different purposes, and overnight accommodation for groups is also possible.
