A historic warehouse transformed into a lively cultural venue

Stóra Pakkhús in Vágur is a historic warehouse dating from 1901. Originally part of Handilsvirkið á Gørðunum, the building belonged to what was once one of the major industrial centres in the Faroe Islands. It was later restored and given new life as a cultural venue. Today, Stóra Pakkhús hosts a variety of cultural activities, including museum exhibitions, concerts and other events, and also has a bar.
