There are a few bars and nightclubs in Suðuroy. They are usually only open at the weekend, typically Friday and Saturday. There are also occasional live music performances as well as pub quizzes held at the different venues.

The house of the Old Gentlemen's Lodge in Tvøroyri, which was founded in 1895, is now a nightclub.
